BADASS!!
A bit surprised they chose this show over any of the ones the mentioned in the first few sentences, but after reading their reasoning, I understand why. Never heard this show, I guess I pretty much have to now.
Had no idea about the whole Oregon Trail theme ;D
I rarely listen to bootlegs of shows I didn't attend; however, I still listen to this one on the reg. The whole show is great, but everything after midnight is just ridic. The cover of "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man" is so brilliant.
anyone have a link to this show?
cheers,
Yv
It used to be here http://www.archive.org but now I don't see it. :-/
Without a doubt the best show I've ever seen. Probably one of the best experiences of my life thus far.
I wish I could have been there....
However I was at the Phish and Radiohead shows on that list and you could literally feel it in the air...you knew you were a part of something really, really freaking special. Magic.
boy howdy, what a terrific time that was!
The Steam Engine has this download, though its missing the last tune of the night (er, morning)- Mahgeetah :'(

I think they would've put one of the Bonnaroo shows on there if they didn't already have two others from the festival. As far as "importance", those shows or the 08 SXSW or NYE at the Garden trump the '06 show imo. Plus, JamBase is set in San Francisco so I'm guessing the editors were at that show. One of the most quality live recordings of an MMJ show.
My 1st Jacket show...I still don't know HOW thet made it snow :D

I love this cover.
