My Morning Jacket will be touring the Southeastern United States this Spring, including a performance at this year's Jazzfest in New Orleans. The band is honored to announce that the historic Preservation Hall Jazz Band will be supporting them on the run.

MMJ in Charleston is going to be AWESOME!  Very strange that the venue is a Tennis arena.  The last Jacket show in South Carolina was one of the best I've witnessed (Myrtle Beach 2008).  Will definetly make the trek up to Raleigh after.

There are only so many tickets available at the presale and they aren't all up front.  So if you don't get in early and get offered good seats it's often better to wait for the actual sale.  I've only gotten good seats from the presale once, but they were front row in front of Jim at the Palace, so, again, it's worth a try.

I don't know the ticket limit.

Hey, Megalish, me too.  I'm off that week and I have a round trip ticket with either USAir or Southwest to use.  How do you see yourself getting from one to the other?  Need gas money?  :)

I am stoked.  Only one MMJ and one MoF show under my belt since MMJ entered my consciousness.  I've got the go from the wife, though more than one or two shows may be too much (our three girls are a handful when your alone).  

So B'ham, N'ville, and/or Atl.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.  

I'll probably try for tix to all three.  Then, if I can't  make it, I'll post any extras available at face value. Maybe that'll help out folks who can't make it at 10am Friday.  I'm teaching a 9th grade science class at that time, but I might get the portable laptop lab for that day and have the kids all buying tickets.  Just kidding. ;)
