while I was checking out the roo message boards, I saw that someone had posted a rumor that the lineup release was going to be postponed until the 9th...not sure if there is any truth to that rumor (hope not) but we'll see.

It's officially official. On Tuesday, February 9th, the 2010 Bonnaroo Music Festival will make a "very special unveiling." Tickets will be on sale then too. Until then, continue speculation; it's going to be a long seven days...
Update: It turns out that this unveiling will be taking place throughout the day, as it will be a "virtual event for Bonnaroo fans," who will be able to view and discuss the confirmed lineup on Bonnaroo.com as it is revealed. No announcements will be made between now and then. So, get some sleep.
Update #2: As confirmed by frontman Wayne Coyne in a recent interview with Spinner, The Flaming Lips will perform Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon during a late night set on the first night (Thursday?). "We do a Flaming Lips set then starting about 2:30 we do this Dark Side of the Moon thing. In that sense, it's perfect for that. It lets you play a little bit longer."

I actually had the same lineup emailed to me in poster format. It looks pretty legit to me, and given that all the headliners make sense and it was supposed to be announced this past Tuesday, I think it's quite possibly the initial lineup.

Oh, I think there's a lot of good guesses on there for sure. I just don't want anyone to get their hopes up from seeing a name on that list that might not show up on the real list.
You can see the "2010" and "10-13" are totally Photoshopped. ;D
Sorry I'm being such a jerkstore about this...I'm just anxious for the real Roo lineup. Tuesday can't come soon enough! ;D
i really really hope MMJ is going to play this year. they could be headliners. i know some of the names being kicked around would preclude the jacket from taking one of the prime time spots, but bonnaroo is their home turf, a place they cut their teeth if you will in terms of festivals; they would tear up the headlining spot and hold it down better than a lot of people -- better than kings of leon for sure. that said, i'd be happy if they played a late night set and somehow headlined 2010 (which i think is the ten year anniversary of b-roo).
