Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone knows if MMJ is coming to the West Coast at all on tour this year? I don't see that they are but maybe I'm missing something. I live in San Fran.
Thanks!
Welcome! First off, I love your city. If I wasn't living where I'm living now, I would be living in San Fran. Perhaps we will be neighbors someday. Secondly, you should stick around. I'm sure they will come visit your fine city at some point this year. You aren't missing anything. They've only announced a handful of spring dates so far. :)
They should play Outside Lands...
or better yet, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass.
or better yet, Sasquatch...
Is Sasquatch as free as Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is?
I'm biased, but I'll take Golden Gate Park over central Washington every time.
Oh, don't get me wrong - I've been wanting to go to Hardly Strictly for a while. They always have a great lineup, and the fact that it's free is pretty mindblowing.
I've never been to San Francisco, but Golden Gate Park looks amazing in photos. Shame that central Washington isn't very picturesque... ;)

You need to rectify this neglagence, now. Yep, GGP is pretty awesome.
I know, I suspect if I went there I'd never leave ;D

You don't have to tell me how gorgeous the Gorge is. I cry a little bit on the inside when I think about how I had tickets to see Pearl Jam there in 2005, but didn't make the show.
But then I remember that I used the airfare that I was going to use for that trip for a trip to San Diego the next year where Pearl Jam put on one of the greatest shows I have witnessed. Almost as great as the Seattle finale in 2000, which I was also present for.
Nice! Gotta love a fellow Pearl Jam fan. The pic above is from one of their '06 shows there. Something crazy like 110 degrees that day, but still one of the best shows I've witnessed.
I understand the San Francisco weather is a little more temperate ;)

It was very difficult for me to leave last time I visited.
MMJ will headline one of the nights of Sasquatch Festival

I would guess more west coast shows will follow this.

This news, Sasquatch, means I don't have to drive all the way Indio! I Like this lineup WAY better than Coachella. And it is soooo close! I am so happy!!! http://consequenceofsound.net/festival-outlook/sasquatch-music-festival/

yowzer, hop on a plane and check it out!! Hands down the best city this country has to offer...one of the best cities in the world in my opinion! That said, the Gorge is a magical place (as long as it's not 107 degrees).
There will be some Bay area dates....there has to be! Outsidelands would be nice treat, but I'd really love to see them back at the Berkeley Greek. Or the Fillmore...or the Oakland Fox.
I bet they add Vancouver, Portland, SF and LA soon ;)

I hope that you are as right about this as you were about Sasquatch.
I then will call you Nostradamus.
Just give me some northeast dates already, Jim.

;D It was a completely lucky guess. But you have to think they wouldn't fly all the way out there just to do one show... ;)
I know I'm in no position to demand anything....but c'mon guys - announce some more dates! I am super bummed I can't make the southeast shows!!!
Need some west coast dates - or any dates anywhere this summer!
Help a sister out!
I wonder if we'll get some dates today? Maybe next Friday. :)
