Carl's touring, or at least has a few dates posted:

Radio Radio, Indianapolis IN, 10.7
Schubas, Chicago IL, 10.9
Joe's Pub, New York, 10.20

...Guess that's what we're doing on the off night?   ;D

Joe's pub is not going to know what hit them with that show right in the middle of 5/5/5.

That's perfect! Joe's Pub is so cool, plush couches and all that. If I can get these tickets w/out fees for everyone I'll do it, let me know.  (i called it'll only save 3$ but still)

It's great to be alive and a Jacket fan. There I said it.

Prices are $$ but we can drink at McSorley's before..

Kick ass.  How much are tickets?

And, more importantly, how much music can one guy keep in his head for a 6 day stretch?   Carl is a stud.

Lame, perhaps, but it's the little things in life that please me!

Damn I want the Deluxe Limited Edition!   Just can't justify that amount this month.  It's actually a bargain though for what your getting.  Just can't do it.

How great that we can download the album right now though with purchase!   This is turning out to be one hellava day.

One thing to note for people going to the Joe's pub show. You can make a reservation and reserve a table. I strongly suggest it becuase the standing area gets packed there.

Verrrrrrrry excitinggggg news!

When I first heard it I kinda thought "YES! ....crap I wonder where that's at in relation to T5...."

But now I looked on google maps and (for other out-of-towners / unfamiliars like myself) (or at least for Im the Dude, also hailing from Pitt and unfamiliar with nyc as me) it doesn't seem too far at all. Looks like a few blocks over to Broadway, then I'd imagine there's bus galore along Broadway...

Not that we'll be traveling to or from T5 on the night off, but T5 might be a good landmark of sorts, for orientation purposes...

I dunno, I was just glad to see that I won't have to be navigating (/failing to navigate) clear across town  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Good stuff good stuff 8-)  Figured something would have to shake for the night off!!

Joe's Pub isn't very close to T5. But your best best is to ride a Subway to Union Square and walk down from there.

Manhattan is NOT THAT BIG. Seems bigger on a map. Like MW said, you can walk from Union Square, or just jump in a cab. It's kinda in the NYU area, lots of trendy clubs down there and I noticed McSorley's is close which is a cool treat for out of towners.  :)

It's a great venue, there are tables up front and a few couches if I remember, the bar is in the back and there is a bit of standing room. I'm gonna try to just get a bunch of tix but as far as reserving the tables, I'm not sure how that works. (obviously, there's probly a 2 drink minimum or something).

Also they usually have 2 sometimes 3 shows a night, there. Hopefully the tix won't be too much.

I love love love Joe's Pub! Plush and cozy and dark and(intimate)....someone stop me

I do think there is a two drink minimum, but it's nothing outrageous compared to other lounges in the city.  I bet the tix are very reasonable..

oh my gosh, i will definitely need that oxygen bed for this week...
:D

To reserve tables is easy. Once you get your tickets just call Joe's Pub. The tables fill up quickly so I suggest reversing them right away. There is a 2 drink minimum or you can just order food. I used to live 2 blocks from Joe's and went there a lot.

However I think I am going to skip this show because I think I will want to do something non music related this night.
