I was just about to try searching for an audio stream for Sunday, but this audio AND video stream is like opening presents and then realizing that Santa forgot to eat the cookies [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
well I guess i am going to mile high after all this weekend. sweet. so there is confirmation the MMJ set will be broadcast?
Broadcast schedule is here, and yes MMJ is on it!

I might not bother with going now! MMJ was really all I wanted to see, and I was not looking forward to the hassle.
I'm going to attempt a video capture of this stream on Sunday. The question is, what format works for most people?
The default is wmv. I can also do avi, mp4, mov, flv, etc. I'm leaning towards avi, which I can then convert to DVD.

avi or mpg dude for sure.
if you record it as an mpg you probably can just burn it to dvd that way. avi is a more compact format and the file size is smaller. mpg is the most classic way of going about. avi is more divx players. mpg you can burn as VCD's or SVCD's at the very least without any fucking with it. VCD's for the most part are watchable all all dvd players made in the last couple years.
even if you're doing chapters and stuff mpg is probably your best route. unless there is a new version of MPEG. Mp4 is a bitch to convert. that's basically an itunes video file. flv is flash and flash isn't compatible with most players and is generally low quality. .mov is a quicktime file so again there is probably going to be some bs conversion involved if you want to make it DVD compatible. I could be wrong so if I am web nerds feel free to correct me. wmv is windows idea of a media file and it's really pretty shitty when it's all said and done. fairly low quality. I do not like wmv's much.
Yac, do you use freecoder 4 to capture video? If not, which one is your chosen one??
I'm not going to be at home, but I'm going to set it up to record so I was just curious.

I was gonna try Debut Video Capture software, but I can't get audio, only video. I'm looking at Freecorder 4 but I'm not convinced it'll do the trick. I'll keep researching. Suggestions welcome.
