Put together a little recollection of my initial reaction to Z which still remains one of my favorite albums of all-time for the occasion.

Wow!Five years, huh? It wasn't my favorite at first but I must say it "grew" on me more than any other MMJ album. My favorite varies from day to day but Z's always a contender.

Ahhh yes, I was working at a guitar shop next to a circuit city back then. I remember it clearly. I remember telling my boss, "At 10 am, I'm going to walk out of this store (when Circuit City opened), go to Circuit City, walk back in here, and change your world"

And I did

And my boss and my other boss were standing there, grooving with great curiosity when Off the Record came on. Specifically, the outro. Boss 1, a major Stones fan fell in love and likened it to the end of Monkey Man or Can't You Hear Me Knocking. Boss 2 was just blown away by the whole experience.
