Anyone know what song was playing right before they kicked off the Evil Urges show?
I though they just played Isley Bros Footsteps in the Dark on repeat before every show
ok cool i'll check it out...does it have a sax solo at the end?

Nah, I'm being half sarcastic. It's the sample from Ice Cube's "today was a good day" that I heard repeated non stop before the show it seemed.
Whatever was played sounded like traditional ragtime. I know they played at least 1 louie armstraong
We asked the sound man about the really mellow groove with a little sitar and tablas. It was Alice Coltrane.
every night they were bumpin' Outkast Aqumni and also playin a lot of Allan Tousaints Southern Nights.
the jam im talking about plays for the first minute of this clip

That's a version of Danny Boy by Sil Austin, it was their intro song for their summer tour (or at least the Philly show)

Anybody know what song they played over the PA after every show at T5? Female vocalist, slow old tune, with the first lyrics being "till we meet again"

I believe it was "We'll Meet Again (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We%27ll_Meet_Again)," by Vera Lynn.
thanks crispy! thats the one.
Yeah, the band is always spot on with their pre-show music selections. Highlights for me at the T5 shows were Outkast's "Elevators", The Isley Brothers' "Between the Sheets", and "You Bring Me Joy" by Anita Baker/Zach Galifianakis. What perfect ways to get primed for those shows.
