One of my heroes has passed on.  God bless the Cash family during this awful year as we lost both June and Johnny...

Johnny has been reunited with June, the light of his life.

RIP Johnny.  The world is a better place for having had you.

I absolutely LOVE that picture of Johnny and the middle finger...says a lot about him, a statement of his attitude and personality, especially in the earlier days.

Thanks!  I think I'm gonna put that on a t-shirt...

I was just watching the video for Hurt last night, which is beautiful, and sad.  How could you not love Johnny Cash?  He was such a badass.  I love "understand your man", "unchained", and "jackson," and the way he kept up with the times and his audience, not by changing his style to fit the times, but by adapting cover songs to fit his style - i'm thinking of his version of u2's "one" and tom petty's "I won't back down"

Johnny had style.
