Make no mistake, The Thrills are special. Maybe you've already heard their single Santa Cruz (You're Not That Far), a perfect slice of sunshine and love that evokes the spirit of the Sixties West Coast and the stomp of The Strokes. They're album has been out for while here (England) and they just started they're first headline tour over here, they played Liverpool last week, I couldn't go but some friends said it was pretty good, the vocals are weak live by all acounts but the album is not bad at all if a little derivative, they sure don't sound Irish!
