Small wonder the band has direct ticketing, what with it being better, easier, and CHEAPER, fer chrissakes.
I just spenta frustrating 30 minutes trying to get tix for the Milwaukee show. Your session expires in 2 minutes? Shit, I type at 65 wpm and I couldn't finish in time!
Not to mention the bullshit charges they add on...WTF? "Convenience charge?" That's the last time I EVER use their service.
I did get tix, but it shouldn't be a lengthy, costly, frustrating experience...point and click, charge my card, mail the tix to me...how hard is that?
(I see a business plan developing here....hmmmmmmmmm)
Thoughts on this?
Hey you should try getting tix to Glastonbury music festival in the UK! Nightmare!
Is there not direct tix for that show (I mean, from MMJ, that is)...just curious.
Do you guys have some kind of equivalent to Ticketmeister?
We have plenty of sites like that, some better than others. Glastonbury turned into an absolute farce with thousands disappointed.
A lot of people are very angry about how it was handled.
'Convenience charges' - does that guarantee you your own toilet?
Just asking bro'

Hmm, anyone remember this????
You have to give props to Pearjam for being ahead of their time on this Ticketmaster monopoly. It is certainly horse shit! Band gets nothing. Fans get ripped off. It's evil. I liken them to the Don King of concerts w/o the hair.
Don't think for a second it will get better any time soon. Those bogus charges will continue to rise. I always go the venue who for the most part don't add those costs.
D.
It's too bad Pearl Jam has not put out a good album in a long, long time.

Pfft!! ::)
ruh-roh Shaggy...I see a debate arising here! ;D
Hmm, guess who is doing the MMJ posters for their tour?
That would be Ames Bros. Jeff Ament (pj bassist) and his brother.
I guess so people can't get past VS and Vitalogy huh.
