I've got their first 2 c.d.'s--highly recommended.  These guys are amazing, especially since there are only two of them.  I'd like to see a battle of the bands b/w them and the White Stripes.

Never seen them live though

oh man..."The lengths" is an incredible song.  I like "Stack shot billy" a lot also, but it reminds me of something and i cant put my finger on it.

They do a pretty good live show.  I got to see them in Newport, KY last year.  I love their music, but the funniest part is that the two look nothing like you would expect and they come out of Ohio, Columbus I think.  Thickfreakness is a definite must buy.

imo, the white stripes can't even compare to the black keys, sure jack can play the guitar, but meg is horrible.

now, when you compare the black keys and the jon spencer blues explosion, that's a toss up for me.

shit, I just knew Mr. Spencer wasn't going to come back this way anymore.  he seemed really fucking pissed at the crowd last time around...slammed his guitar at the end of it, creating the most piercing feedback noise ever that had to be squelched by the sound guy (uncle dave taylor)

damn it!  he fucking rocks.

agreed on The Lenghts, one of the best songs i've heard in some time, you can stream it of their official website, highly recommended!

They rocked Brussels to the bone! Great band, great crowd.
Even covering 'No Fun' by The Stooges as an encore and ended with a blistering 'Heavy Soul'. Raw bluesy energy, just what i needed after all these weird things happening in the world. However, a great night for rock 'n roll :D
