any jacket fans out there have any new, good suggestions for bands to check out.  things seem a little dry lately. thanks, greg

I am Kloot is a really good new band that isn't getting much attention.  Their music is by no means complicated, just simple, fun, and a bit different from most of the other crap out there.  Their album isn't available, I don't think, in the US, but you can buy it on line reasonably...

...and another great new band that is a little more "punkish" is  Split Habit.  The group is Chicago based though I know they are playing an Ernie Ball show in LA this coming weekend.  They have a kick ass cover of Maneater which I think you can hear on their website... (but I'm partial to the 80's!)
