This is the opening band "Vagenuis" She played the "keyitar" and I think they would have gone over well at a Transvestite/Gay club. They did a cover of AC/DC's "Money Talk" that nearly made me pee my pants.

"Rock Action" These guys brought it and brought it hard

Crazy with Photoshop...Can you see the bass player just under Caleb's guitar? He was going off!!!

Nice photoshop work, Brian. Watch out, though. It gets addictive. When I first started getting it, I made everyone look like a demon (it wasn't hard to do with the cat). They look good.
Vagenius? That is hilarious. Is it one girl, or did she have a band?
Where was this show?
So I take it the so was great. Can't wait to see them again when they come to Louisville March 21.Great rock n roll band.
Vagenius consisted of the lady keytar player, a bad ass drummer who looked like Luke Wilson in The Royal Tennanbaums (he had a headband and everything), and one more guy that played bass, keyboard, guitar, and hand claps.
As for the Kings of Leon, my wife said it was the best performance she has seen, and remember we were in the front row for My Morning Jacket at the same venue. These guys were a ball of fire from start to finish. Highlights for me included, Four Kicks (Oh! guess who's struttin NOW!!), California Waiting (I had only heard this song the day before the show as it is not on either full length album but it may be one of my favorites, it's beautiful) Spiral Staircase (with audience clapping along)

Oh my fucking god. That is so awesome. Holy crap.
I wondered if it was the Exit/In. Wow.
Yes,"California Waiting" is an awesome song. But are you saying it's not on your cd of "Youth and Young Manhood" because it is on my copy I bought a year or so ago.
It wasn't on mine but then again I got mine off the internet. They closed with a new song called "Head to Toe" I went to a record store in Nashville the next day called "Grimeys" and they had a bunch of 7" vinyl singles so I bought one with "Four Kicks" and "Head to Toe" on it. The show was in fact at the Exit/In
Oooooh Grimey's. We went there. I want one in Toronto (although, I guess we have some cool record shops, too).
I saw them at bonnaroo last year, and they brought it...and brought it hard. Very awesome show. I guess they'll be busy touring with u2 for the next couple of months though.
P.S. Awesome photos you took, sweat.
dude--that last picture in your opening post is like a vintage acid rock poster--I love it!
Thanks Fanatic, I updated it.

Kings of Leon played 2 shows at Nashville's Exit Inn.
Sadly it was an 18+ show. =/
Yeah, that is fucking awesome, I want a t-shirt like that, will you e-mail me the jpeg, or file, or whatever? Thanks,
Brian
