Post by: primushead on Feb 24, 2005, 05:57 PM
Alright...make a dream band consisting of anyone alive or dead, any lineup, any genre.

Les Claypool - Bass
Jim James - Guitar/Vocals
?uestlove - Drums

Hmmmm....

Drums would HAVE to be John Bonham
Guitar - the one. the only. Buckethead
Vocals/rhythm guitar - ReLoad era James Hetfield
Bass/keyboards - John Paul Jones

I would even let them use my own band name - Dr. Sauce and the Mystic Fishsticks

Just in case nobody picks any women, I'm gonna ONLY pick women (just to represents my partners in womb):

Vocals:  Emmylou Harris
Backup:  Elizabeth Cotton, Loretta Lynn and Mary Margaret O'Hara
Lead Guitar:  Gillian Welch (any of those other girls can play, too.  And Gillian can sing)
Drums:  Meg, I guess.  I don't know too many girl drummers.
Piano/keyboards:  Carol King
Autoharp:  Sara Dougherty
Bass:  Kim Gordon

I like this line up but would sub John Bonham or Neil Peart on drums and maybe add Joe Satriani as another axe man

I'm sorry but Jim James and Les Claypool in the same band is just scary!  I don't even want to think about that.
