Does anyone else have this dvd?  It is so great. I am continuously watching it and getting pumped for my two Willie shows in the near future.

Any other recommendations?

Of course it has Whiskey River.  Willie starts nearly every show with Whiskey River.

I'm not a big fan of music dvd's but some are great.
like:
jeff buckley - live in chicago
gillian welch - the revelator
bonnaroo 2003
festival express
the complete monterey pop
tom waits - big time

I think there's another thread somewhere...

totally agree with these 2 but do you really think live in berlin is GREAT? I think it sounds a little weird and not in a good way... and that outfit. damn.

Steve Earle from ACL when Guitar Town had just come out.  It's pretty wicked.

Why can't I find the Johnny Cash thread?  I know we had one...

Anyhow, today I finally had some time to watch the Johnny Cash Live from Behind Prison Walls 1978 (or '77).

Okay.  It's cheesy as hell.  And I don't care.  Johnny Cash is seriously the coolest dude on the planet.  There is no contest.  He can do the stupidest shit, and it looks fucking wicked on him.

Linda Ronstadt is pretty awesome, too.  She plays tambourine.  Anybody else seen it?
