Does anyone feel out of place? 6 topic areas? Quick reply boxes? Different colors? Argh! ::clicks heels:: "there's no place like home...there's no place like home".
nah. I think the changes are cool, especially the tabs section. It's the new evolution of the forum (note: this post was written using the quick reply box) 8)
i'm digging the new sections and like aMD said, especially the tabs section.
now i won't have to search through 30 pages just to find one song.
Agreed ;D
I think CC's doing a great job - the forum was & still is so well laid out & easy to use.
Keep up the good work CC! :)
I'm just gonna clear up that I wasn't complaining...just feeling wierd!! :)

I know what you mean, primushead. The changes are definately for the best, but like all changes take a while to get used to. The quick reply box is a great idea but I keep forgetting to use it.

yes, it's quite tasty served chilled with mustard greens, feta chesse, and a vinegar/oil dressing. topped off of course with some fresh ground black pepper and freshly grated parmesean cheese. ;)

three cheers for fresh ground pepper! i use royal melange. sounds prestigious, eh?
Wow...considering you caught me before lunch, that does sound good as HELL! I think I'm gonna go with the quick reply sandwich for lunch...I can't wait! :)
or, you could have the quick reply with steamed mussels, cooked with garlic, white wine, and butter sauce. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....protein!
Yeah...but that's more of an evening dish. When preparing the quick reply box, you can't be too fancy...but that sounds like a good dinner plan. What's the recipe?
1 pound fresh mussels
bottle of white wine
butter to taste
garlic to taste
salt/pepper
get a fairly deep skillet or saucepan. wash mussels thoroughly. place mussels in pan, add 1 cup white wine, 1 cup of water, start with 1/2 stick of butter, and salt/pepper liberally. put on medium heat, until wine and water boil. cover and lower heat to simmer. after several minutes, check mussels and discard any unopened mussels (don't ever try to eat those, bad very bad!)
add minced garlic to taste, salt and pepper again. add butter and stir until sauce becomes less watery and more saucey. cook until you can't stand the delectable smell anymore...covered. you can serve them just as is or over pasta.
Mmmmm...well I know what I'm doing tonight! :)
mmmmmmmmmusselsmmmmmmmmm.
I like a tomato fennel sauce, too. mmmmm.

Indeed. Despite having just finished lunch a mere two hours ago, I find myself craving the quick reply box, with capers and olive oil this time...

Man, sometimes I find myself just shavin' off a few slices of parmesan and just eating it like a snack...

I'm there with ya...except I prefer smoked gouda. That's the dankest cheese ever created.

Yep, that's good. It's just the white sugar that isn't good. If you can find some made with brown sugar or raw cane sugar, then it's brilliant.
(Said the girl who's eating ranbow chip mini cookies leftover from one of the artistic director's kids.)
so I just finished an iced frappacino. deeeeeeeeeeeeelightful.....now I'm buzzin from sugar AND caffeine... :o
Man, it's amazing what them computerwizards can do these days. I can't keep track, that's for sure...
Ok, I just read this thread. I heart it.
I also heart parmigiano reggiano...ever have it? Its the classiest cheese in the world, and I can eat a block of it without even trying :)
