Here is the edited version. ( I edited the breaks that were  in original stream.)

Nice little bonus song at the end also!

Bringing this one back to the top since I'm listening to the show right now.  Did a better NPR stream copy ever surface?  This copy sounds good minus the audio cutting out for a second, 50 times throughout.

Also if you're not familiar with Johnny Yac's story about how he got Jim and Brittany to collaborate for this show it's really cool. He shared to the facebook group last year. I can link and paste the message as well.

From John -
I thought I'd share a story about MMJ and Brittany Howard with the group.

In April 2012, I took my then-10 year old daughter to her 1st concert, Alabama Shakes in Burlington, VT. After a great show, we went around back and met Brittany. My daughter got a picture with Brittany and she signed her poster. We talked about loving her band and I mentioned my favorite band, My Morning Jacket. Brittany told us how much she loved MMJ and that she would love to sing with Jim James.

A few days later, I emailed someone I knew from MMJ's management about our conversation with Brittany, noting MMJ and Alabama Shakes were going to play the same day of Newport Folk Festival that summer. I suggested they try to arrange a collaboration.

A couple of weeks go by and I get an email from their tour manager, saying he passed on my idea to Jim, who reached out to Brittany in Paris, where Alabama Shakes was supporting Jack White's European tour.

A few weeks before Newport (I had tickets for the whole family), he emailed to say "we're trying to make your Newport dreams come true."
Cut to Newport in August 2012...
Alabama Shakes played around 2pm, a solid set (we were front row), but no guest appearances. MMJ closed the night, with a storm approaching (not relevant to the story, unless you were there). Then, at a point in MMJ's set, this happened...

The following year, April 2013, MMJ released a 10" yellow vinyl record of that performance for Record Store Day.
The End

Are the slight hiccups (like 4:35 of Movin Away for example) part of the recording or did something happen in the upload?

I just checked my download of the MP3s, and they have that same skip or silent part for a second during "The Way That He Sings" as well as with "Movin' Away". I guess the original capture of that broadcast had them in it too. Just guessing though.
