okay, this one is exquisitely simple
capo 6h fret
let me define the chords first:
Amaj7: x02120 (it sounds like Jim doesnt tend to play the high string on any of these chords though, so dont put much, if any, emphasis on the high e)
also, a not on this chord. Hammer off and on the 2nd fret of the B string while playing this chord. You'll hear it on the recording.
F#min: 204220 or if its easier for you x04220 (the top string really never sounds in this one)
E: 022100 easy enough, eh? (wow, ya like the unintentional alliteration?)
starts off on the low E string: --0--2--0-- then...
Amaj7 ........F#m......E........F#m...Amaj7
with a little transition in there to the F#m3:
D--------------
A--2--(2)/4-----
E-------------2-
and then to the E:
D------------
A--4--2---0--
E-------------
Somebody stole..............my lighter
.....................Amaj7..............F#m.......E.........F#m....Amaj7
thats how the verse works....
the chorus starts from the ending E chord
ohhhhh they ran...............................ohhhhohohoh
E..................F#m............Amaj7.......F#m........Amaj7
ends with an Amaj7

Is the mmj tabs site down? Nooooooo
fiddlecastro was supposed to resurrect the tabs site a while back, but he's been lured away from the Forum by Facebook and life. I'll see what's up...
