Title: Muddy Water Finds Its Way - New Multitudes
Post by: Blindmelon67 on Jun 17, 2014, 11:19 PM
For anyone with Spotify "Muddy Water Finds Its Way" is the final track on the deluxe edition of New Multitudes. Sadly though I believe Spotify is the only way to listen this song, but I enjoyed it so much I decided to take a swing at finding out the chords. This was all done by ear, including the lyrics, so if anyone finds a flaw feel free to correct me on it. Also if anyone knows another way to listen to this song without Spotify that would be much appreciated.

(Intro)
C G C G C G C D

(Verse)
C                   G                 C                    G
What are your hopes babe? What are your dreams?
C                   G                     C                    D
What are your pleasures babe do you have in mind?
C                 G      C                  G
What kind of work do you wanna do?
C                 G                C       D
How will you get yourself going there?

(Chorus)
G                            A
You are the seasons of my day
G                                 A
You are the answer that my life calls
C                              G
You are the light that ground the earth
C                                                      A
Where history's marching a new drum beat is heard
C                                        G
Where muddy water finds its way

(Repeat Intro)

(Verse)
There is one thing I know is sure
No grate(?) is deep enough for love is pure
Revolutionary love, revolution days
Revolution out of revolution ways

(Chorus)
You are the seasons of my day
You are the answer that my life calls
You are the light that ground the earth
Where history's marching a new drum beat is heard
Where muddy water finds its way

(Verse)
What do you want? Why do you want it?
Does it help others in this life?
Get together your wildest thoughts
In the valley you save dreams

(Repeat Intro)
(End)

Once again if anybody finds a mistake feel free to point it out.
