The new single out today is killer! LOVE that guitar solo at the end -- that tone is way more of a far-out edge one than Kurt's usual style. There's almost no way this album is anything except a straight killer.
For me Steve Gunn > Kurt Vile.

Kurt and Stephen Malkmus sat in on each other's sets in Amsterdam this week. What I would have done to be there had I known!! Malkmus posted a snippet of "Kite" with Kurt soloing and it was MAGICAL.
They'd make for a great double-bill next summer!
