The show at this place in 2012 was fantastic. There is a cool, dive-ish bar just up the hill from the venue that I recommend checking out for a preshow beverage:

A quick change of plans has opened up this show to me.  Looking for 2 seats in pit or 1st reserved section.  Do y'all think these sections are actually sold out (1st reserved only has singles left) or should I try my luck with general sale on Friday?

You might have some luck with the general sale. There is also a local presale that is open today. Not too sure of the details of that though.

I have 2 tickets in Section 1, Row Q that are available if you would want to avoid the hassle. Feel free to PM me if you are interested!

New poster here, count me in!  Stoked to get another hometown show, especially since I can't really travel for music this year.

Let me know if anyone needs any recs for food, drink, lodging, etc. as it gets closer.  There's all kinds of stuff within walking distance of the venue.

let's hope the Never Miss a Sunday Show gets applied tonight. Last time I saw them here, it was a Sunday on the 2012 tour and I think we'd all be down for something like this:

Best set list of the weekend but stills seems a little short.  Mind you I haven't seen any of these shows so just going off the lists but it seems to me curfew is getting in the way.

hmmmm.  setlists are looking pretty vanilla lately.  probably great shows but i really miss what they were digging into during the first spontaneous curation series.

Really enjoyed the show, the starting run up to Wonderful was
:cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: a lull (imo) on Wonderful-New Life-Believe but jumped right back in at Victory Dance. The Lay Low outro jam was interesting & awesome. Jim was doing his reverb thing for a bit and then Carl started playing a lick and built into a HEAVY jam, similar to some heavy Cobra jams. Encore was pretty standard, was hoping for one more track in there.

Band seemed in GREAT spirit though, lots of laughs and smiles.

I've seen people lamenting some of the setlists and I get it, they came out firing in Cincy w/ some new covers and some new transitions. I expected that to continue this run but it hasn't so far & maybe a 3 night, 3 city run has them limiting the options, idk.

But, you will NEVER hear me complain if I get a War-IWSYS, Master, Lay Low, State & OTR in the same show. 

Did see a taper and he said he'd have something up on archive soon.

i know people get annoyed at me for saying this, but I hate songs being cut. This is the greatest band in the world with the best discography in the world, we gotta hear all that was intended on the night, I believe.

They should find venues more on the outskirts of these towns with no curfew. For example: SLC, you play the Complex there's a 10:30 curfew, but if you play Saltair out in Magna by the lake, there's NO curfew. That's why they originally scheduled the show for Saltair, I believe. Sadly it didn't come to fruition.

you sure about that? believe it's a 11PM curfew there.

I'm  being told there is a 10 pm curfew for Vermont as well.  Im concerned it's going to be a a watered down set

I don't think these early curfews are really causing them to just play "the hits".  They are starting earlier and ending earlier, that is all.

The guitar jam after Lay Low was pretty heavy and long.  We were trying to figure out if it was a cover (Soundgarden ish as per people around me).  I was hoping it was going to be a new song.

Every venue has a curfew so they could run into that problem anywhere. I would rather they just drop the opener and play longer. Also the Cincinnati show was a lot more than just the hits. Not sure why after Cincinnati they basically have gone away from covers and more towards a standard set.

Only issue I saw with the show was the setlist construction.  Started off great with the first few tunes through OTR, but there were just too many slow songs strung together in the meat of the show and it didn't have any real flow.

I didn't mind too much because there were several that I love and hadn't seen live before, but I think they kinda lost some of the more casual fans and people who were there mainly for GCJ.  Hopefully they all stayed until the end, because Victory Dance through the rest was hot fire.  Lay Low is my favorite song, so it was awesome to hear such a jammed version.  Could've just ended it there really.  Show really could have used that Magheetah or I'm Amazed or something sandwiched in between some of the earlier slower tunes.

My first show since RR last years, so I was admittedly Jonesing a bit, but I thought this was a great show.  Nice set, good energy, band having fun, etc.  Just re listened to that recording and have no complaints..... Little shorter than I'm used to, but I expected this much after a long break.   Looking forward to MPP Friday.
