"when politicians talk about video games what they are really telling us is that they ain't gonna do shit to stop the shooting.  so, ok are they gonna push their video game legislation today? buy backs?  a warehouse filled with duck hunt laser pistols and ps4 controllers?

they also will never do anything like it.  where are the new programs for mental health?  also never coming our way!  feel free to try something you idiots!! and see if the shootings go down.  or maybe we could go for simpler more direct idea like

making it super hard to get a weapon of mass murder for anyone in this country!! then see if the numbers go down."

Definitely.  So good to see this how much heart (for lack of a better term) this band has.

I, for one, will never surrender my firearms nor agree to have my right to own as many, with as much capacity, as I want infringed by double talking politicians.  They live in gated, high walled communities with armed details keeping them safe and I should be afforded the same damn right to be able to access the same level of protection to keep myself and my loved ones safe.  Better linkage of mental health to firearms purchases is a fair step.  Enforcing the laws already on the books is also a fair step.  Creating new and dangerously slippery slope laws like this red flag crap is not a fair step as it is very open to easy abuse by anyone who thinks they don't like you.  Carl is certainly free to voice his feelings and I as a law abiding owner am deeply disappointed at the actions of the individuals who've perpetrated needless horror on others, I'm just hoping for a well thought out process and better enforcement of current laws is certainly something that can happen quickly.
/end rant.  Peace all

I agree with both you and Carl. There has to be something responsible we can do

Thanks for sharing this post, I agree with Carl and I hope that SOMETHING (such as background checks) is done soon!

Carl's Twitter post from October 28, 2018 that he re-tweeted last week after the recent White Nationalist mass murders in El Paso, Texas.

"outrage, argument, inaction, silence, a scary silence, gunshots, repeat

thx a lot US government"
