photos are online,
six on stage this time...
Man, that owl reminds me of the Rush album cover for Fly By Night...ahhhh, memories of the teenage years (what I recall, of course)
Drunk on grain alcohol punch, cruisin' in my buddies Monte Carlo, smokin' various plant matter...blastin' Rush like it was some kind of manna from heaven... :)
yeah, probably the same owl

that owl DESTROYS me.
Come on now...it could be Woodsie or X the Owl :D
My favorite part of this show was when Jim Robot-walked onto the stage during Detachment Kit's set. And the PB&J Sandwich was grrrrreat! - Although my friend only let me have one bite! Man - Tommy and Jim can whip up one hell of a good sandwich!
Don't forget Patrick played the drums with Detachment Kit for a song.
yeah, that was fabulous that he stepped in on drums (because he is such a phenomenal drummer)~~~although i thought justin was going to step in and play guitar. i have to say, detachment kit put on one hell of a show. i was mightily impressed...i really think they sounded better in san diego than in LA. manic energy...although i really thought their singer was going to meet a tragic end when he plummeted off stage.
yeah, between the peanut butter & the robot & that owl...quite the memorable show. just needed laser lights. ;D
SEE? There were just too many cool things about that show! Too bad there weren't more people there to witness it! What's up with San Diego? There were other concerts MMJ was competing with in S.F. and in L.A., but those places were packed! Don't blame the Flaming Lips, San Diego! What a great town though... I have to get down there more often. No wonder my friends move down there and never come back. :'(
