Never did a Springsteen show, either.  I blame an old college roommate from Jersey.  He was so obnoxious about Springsteen it was a huge turn-off.  If there's a big show down NY/NJ way this summer, I'd love to catch a show with youse guys.

Would be a pleasure to indoctrinate you mr. Yac.

Absolutely! The more the merrier. A word of caution though... Bruce shows can be HIGHLY addictive. ;)

Here's one for you Jeff. A rarity that hadn't been played live in 28 years, and Bruce comes out and opens with it on night 4 of 4 at The Spectrum.   Their last ever show there, after playing the old brick building since 1973.

It was an all-time top 5 live Bruce moment for me, and this vid is shot from real close to my spot. Still gives me goosebumps.  8)

awesome clip eric.  guessing this one is mostly for us long time fans as most don't go this deep into the catalog.   this and wreck on the highway were two classic tunes that actually let you sit and recover a bit at those 4 hour shows of yesteryear.

Thought you'd like it.  You're right too, about the "seasoned vets".  Looking around that night when they broke into this to open, half the place was going nuts (me included  :o ), and the rest of the Spectrum was wondering "what's the big deal"?  ???

Two long time friends getting together the other night at MSG. Bob Seeger inviting Bruce up to join him for a tune:

I'm hearing we'll be getting the US/North America tour dates announced real soon. Definitely going to be a 1st leg before they head to Europe in the summer.  8)

Don't worry E, he'll be back around.

Bruce typically does a quick barn-storming type tour on the 1st leg. He tries to get the new material out there across the country as quick as possible.

The shows are typically a little shorter. 21-24 songs, about 2:20 - 2:30 in length, on the 1st US leg. Once they hit Europe and the stadiums over there, they stretch it out a bit, and are in top form for the return to the US for a 2nd leg.

The 2nd leg usually hits more cities, has multi night stands, includes more rarities, longer sets, 24-30+ songs, anywhere from 2:40 - 3:00+ hours in length. These shows are the ones I find are the best of the tour. The ones I'll typically do some traveling to see, and definitely see way more than on the 1st leg.

I'm shooting for one of the MSG's, and both Philly shows on the 1st leg, and possibly Tampa.

Here's a list of dates for the 1st leg:

April 3 - East Rutherford, NJ - Izod Center (on sale Jan 27)
April 4 - East Rutherford, NJ - Izod Center (on sale Jan 27)
April 6 - New York, NY - Madison Square Garden (on sale Jan 27)
April 9 - New York, NY - Madison Square Garden (on sale Jan 27)

I'm planning on both MSG shows.  I would do more shows on the 2nd leg of the tour.
