Hey, CC.  How are you getting those Archive links to post correctly?  I've taken to surrounding them in quotes so they'll work.  What's your trick?

By the way, I didn't realize you'd made this fine list of tapings.  Very nice work.  I threw some taping links up on the setlist thread, too.  We've had some great shows and tapings so far this year, some HD video, repeat-free Red Rocks two-fer, and more to come!
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

using https:// instead of http:// does the trick!

I also keep this bookmarked...

http://archive.org/search.php?query=creator%3A%22My%20Morning%20Jacket%22&sort=-publicdate

Sorted by "Date Added" so the newly posted shows are first, if that helps!!

Still haven't seen the 8/24 Alpharetta show pop up anywhere. I'm dying to hear whether that show was as great as I recall. The Raleigh show sounds amazing and that was the end of the 3 city run.

Victory Dance on the Raleigh recording is the finest I've ever heard. Slow, ominous, and menacing at the start... but erupting at just the right moment. Never cared for that song very much on the Circuital tour, but I'm definitely loving it now.

I, too, am wanting 08/24 Alpharetta.  I was there and REALLY want to have a copy of that!

Alpharetta was a great night, but the Raleigh and Wiltern shows kick it's ass. I was at Alpharetta too and loved it, but  if it doesn't show up, those are better shows.  Forecastle and Red Rocks have been in rotation too.

It's just having been at that particular show.  I know there are probably better shows / recordings out there.  There's just no substituting for knowing you were there on that particular night.  Nothing will ever stack up to The Tabernacle in Atlanta (11/12/06) for me.  That was my first MMJ show, they came out with At Dawn and I was smitten instantly.  lol

I'd love if, when listing the shows, people could make a small review. Was the recording particularly good? Was the show energy really good? Was the set list exceptional in any way?

Babe, let's get one thing clear, there's much more stardust when you're near.

I hear ya!  I'm still waiting for the Columbus, Ohio show to surface?!  I saw two tapers in the audience and actually asked one of them if he would put his recording up on archive and he said he would once he got caught up on other tapings.  I'm beginning to wonder if maybe their recordings didn't turn out so good.  I just want to relive that magical double encore with Steam and Pat's drum solo closing out the show!

I understand; It's a souvenir of a great evening. I like to relive shows that way too. My original comment probably stems from my feeling that we probably aren't getting a recording of this show, so I thought to relieve your need for live Jacket by suggesting some other shows from this tour.

For me... the Alpharetta setlist was the best of the tour for a one night stand. They were on fire during this leg of the tour and, although I love the Raleigh and Charlotte recordings, I really want to hear Strangulation, Cobra, and Where to Begin.

I remember seeing at least two rigs out on the lawn too...that's what is the most tragic to me.

One was right in front of where I was sitting in the lawn and I even went up and asked the taper if he was going to upload his recording to Archive and he said he needed about a week...  Or never...  :undecided:

Still the best Steam I've seen live.

SERIOUSLY???? Come on Hoarder, give up the tape! Before the band just releases it themselves, making your selfish power grab meaningless. I love tapers and I can't wait to do my first taping In October, BUT hoarders???

That's a little extreme calling whoever taped the show a hoarder.  He could have had issues with his gear and the recording might not have turned out ok.  I have lots of recordings that are just sitting on a HD that have never been edited or posted. It happens when you start taping a lot of shows. Not that i'm hoarding them, it's just I don't always have time to edit a show and upload them.
