Bo also had a green Line 6 modeler . Carl had a yellow Supah Trem and a Pog . Jims pedals were hard to identify but I could see four Boss pedals a Blues Driver Digital Delay Tuner and a digital reverb. Carl also had the Boss Digital Reverb too

Jim has no digital reverb, it's a blues driver, octave, DDL and two tuners. His only "digital" pedals are the DD5 and the Blue Sky.

I'm just going off of what I saw on his board during the Red Rocks show . What about the Soundbox pedals like Multiwave distortion and Hot Hand Phasee / Flanger? Those aren't digital?  Or has he removed them from his board?  Rex...are you Jims guitar tech cause you seem to know your shit

I saw a few guitars on the RR live stream I didn't see on this thread.  Unless I missed something, does anybody know the guitars Jim was using and what the Dunlop guitar Carl was rocking.

None of those in use currently. Can't speak to their make-up, but they do appear to be DSP based.  The DDL and BlueSky are Jim's only digital elements, unless you want to include wireless and switching controllers in that discussion. Overall, Jim's setup is really quite tame, only about 10 pedals total.  As ever, technique is more important than toys.

I think you are thinking of Carl's Duesenberg.  As for Jim,  the answer is: lots. :)

man, based on pics I'd seen of the boards I'd never have known Carls current set up was so involved.  A ton of great pedals on there.

Would really like to see one of these for Jim as well

This link includes the video on Carl's gear mentioned above but also lists his gear, so it may add to the big picture.

I heard a lot more phaser than normal during the 2019 shows, you can hear it clearly during the intro to Way That He Sings, all the way through War Begun and I Will Sing You Songs, sounds really good, what phaser is it??? can't be the Hot Hand one they were using for a while it sounds far too perfect and subtle, can't be a EHX Small Stone.

Also, one must really highlight the growing importance of Jim's Boss Octave pedal, that pedal is so key to his tone. I wonder how long he's been using it, I know it seemed to turn up to my ears in late 2011 or even early 2012 cause its searing madness is there 100% by 2012's Phone Went West, Dondante, Picture of You, etc, i wonder if Jim's been using that pedal in subtle less in your face ways for a while now. It's a great piece of my board and you can get that wailing Jim tone on demand if you're a good enough player.
