Murph

The Beacon run begins... this first show was made up of a lot of the slower, acoustic songs if I remember correctly.

I was on my 2nd date with my current girlfriend this night and left early to make it to this show.  She said "couldn't you maybe hang out a little longer and go to the show later?"  I immediately scoffed and said, "and miss the first song?  No, sorry"  Very lucky that wasn't the last date.

Ah yes, the sweet, sweet life changing experience of your first Jacket show. Am I remembering correctly that there was a curtain in front of the stage that dropped when they hit those big chords at the beginning of One Big Holiday?  Jim's boots!  What a delightful surprise the youth orchestra was!  I'm tearing up just thinking about that whole experience.

I think there's a decent chance this run is captured on the live album that's been a long time coming, right?

I dunno, I feel like there's a solid chance we finally see a live album in the 1st half of 2021 what with the continued inability to tour. And then obviously it depends what they chose for it. When did they start referencing the live LP, a couple years back maybe? Time is warped now. Red Rocks 2016 and a few other multi-show runs are other possible candidates, but The Beacon wouldn't be a shocker.
