I'm seeing REK on Wednesday in Dallas, then next week at his Thursday Floore's show, then friday night in College Station.

Grew up on REK, one of my top 5 favorite artists. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on his shows recently, guess it makes sense on why he's hanging it up. think the age and health issues are catching up with him. I'll report back after Wednesday night.
Anytime

I've heard mixed things too. I was supposed to see him in May but had to have surgery, so just glad to get another chance (at a better venue).

Well I only got to stay for an hour of REK as I had my wife with me and we've got a 4month old at home so she was a little tired. But i thought he was great! He played the hits, early and often, he did sit down the whole time but his voice sounded good and his guitar player was great and kept the energy up for sure. I think you'll enjoy it.

Really good show and he sounded great. I would have loved to hear Front Porch one more time but can't complain too much.

One show has popped up for us and that would be Royal Crescent Mob in Covington, KY Saturday December 17.  They were relatively popular in the mid to late 80s when we were in college so it's really good to see them playing live once again.

Enjoy the Carl show tonight for us Mr. White!

People wanting to attend will have to submit their e-mail for the drawing starting on Jan. 30th, and it will cost $1.00 per entry. However, I think the 2 scheduled shows will be free! Hope I can actually go to this!)

We just picked up our first tickets for 2023!  March 23 Wilco Riviera Theater Chicago IL - they're doing three shows which would be awesome but realistically we can only make the first show.

The Mammoth Cave show sounds freaking awesome Mr. White.  Good luck with the lottery!

Lucius

5th Feb - English Teacher at Mash in Cambridge (Saw them opening for Yeah Yeah Yeahs last year and thought they were great)

12th Feb - seeing ABBA Voyage. Not sure if this counts as a concert but I've heard nothing but good things so I'm excited!

4th April - Elton John at O2 Arena in London (originally supposed to happen in 2020!)

16th June - Blondie at an outdoor show somewhere in Cardiff

7th July - James at Halifax Piece Hall

AND HOPEFULLY OUR BOYS COME HERE! I've had to cut back a lot on live music this year due to being poor, but I will make myself even poorer and attend every show if we get a full MMJ tour!
it wouldn't be a party without you
