Happy 140th anniversary to the founding of the Mounties, aka the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (formally the North-West Mounted Police). Thanks for keeping the Great White North safe! BTW, the Mounties are Canada's national police force and their famous red uniforms etc... are purely ceremonial.
