Im not a big radiohead fan at all, so how many of those songs ARENT on In Rainbows or That One New Shitty Album? I heard they were only playing from that. I recognize a handful from older records. I'm seeing them in St. Louis. I'm not that excited but I do have some nice goodies left over from a Pink Floyd cover show, so I'll have a good time regardless.

Songs from the last two albums have strike throughs.  Didn't strike through Daily Mail or Staircase because they were a seperate (and awesome) release from TKOL.

Not too bad. I only know OK C, Kid A, In Rainbows. I hope to see a handful from those. The first song on In Rainbows is awesome so I was hoping that would be a staple

ridiculously laughable talkers during this show.  pretty crappy recording but it's all that I've found so far:

Looks like you had a good night, Sticky. Those pictures make me want to go to bonnaroo now to see them. Maybe I'll buy a scalped ticket and just go on the night they play.

I wish I was in miami seeing radiohead this week.  they never come to michigan. :(

APR

I check every day hoping Radiohead announces shows in the East.  Maybe they will add some before or after 'Roo?  I haven't heard any rumors.  If not, I'll be bummed I didn't travel to see them in FLA or St. Louis.

Not every song of theirs is great, but the band is brilliant.  The songs that are good are insanely good. The shows for the most part rock but also do get a little maudlin at times.   It has been a few years, but every time I leave the show I'm way up for seeing them again and listening to all their stuff.  And the lighting they have is usually cool.

Even if the new stuff isn't ones cup of tea, they are a unique band and worth seeing.  Check out Staircase for an awesome new song they'll probably play.

on that tape for last night thom says multiple times that they have over 70songs banked for this tour.  that's a lot for them.  figure you'll probably get King Of Limbs + Daily Mail and Staircase then everything else will be random.  last night was the first time they've ever played "meeting in the aisle" live EVER.  it use to be their intro for one of their tours but it was a taped version.  plus they busted out two brand new songs Cut A Hole and Identikit.  even being completely shitty audio quality wise that set made me feel like I was tripping out by the end of it.  it was smartly built, unfortunately the fans on the tape do not sound too bright or intelligent when it comes to radiohead and their actual catalog.  only complaint is the show was too short.

but it's a private ticketing system not ticketmaster right?

robb

right, they go on sale through something called W.A.S.T.E. on thursday, but not through ticketmaster til saturday.  from what i've gathered anybody can purchase through W.A.S.T.E., they just need to sign up for an account (as far as i can tell, it's just what they sell all of their merchandise/tickets through).

hope some of that is helpful.

Looks like I might be seeing them twice. Cincinatti is so damn close to Louisville. It will all be based on how awesome they are on Friday

Not to mention that Riverbend is probably the most attractive venue on that whole tour. I've only seen a few shows there, but they've all been great. The whole place I found pretty damn nice, and the intimacy of the pit is amazing. It doesn't even seem fair comparing that venue with the venue for the show in Toronto, Downsview Park, which is just a huge-ass flat field that fits 40,000.
