June 2nd: Wakarusa (MMJ, Mumford, Hoots and Hellmouth, Lucero, Grace Potter)
June 17th: MMJ
June 11th: Iron and Wine w/ The Head and the Heart!
June 7th: Bright Eyes w/ Dawes
August 3rd: Flaming Lips w/ Primus
August 4th: MMJ
1st weekend in Sept - tentatively: Pearl Jams 20th Anniversary festival.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

24/4 - The Felice Brothers w/ Caitlin Rose. At the local community hall that holds about 200 people. Should be nice and intimate, and it's only 3 minutes from home!
At my house, we call them uh-ohs.

ALady

Nice, Dave!  That'll be a fun show.

Is that their first time Down Under, I wonder?
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

First for both acts...

Promoted by the same team that last brought MMJ out here. They're also responsible for bringing out recent tours by Wilco, decemberists, gillian welch, OCMS, Jason Isbell, DBT to name a few. They have a good track record in presenting awesome tours... Hopefully they're currently talking to MMJ's management about the next Oz tour...

I'll probably not go to at least one of these shows.

APR 28 - Iron & Wine
MAY 27 - The Avett Brothers
MAY 29 - Weezer
JUNE 16 - Elvis Costello & The Imposters
JULY 12 - 311, Sublime with Rome
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

Joe Fletcher and the Wrong Reasons and Lydia Loveless at the Plough and Stars in Cambridge, MA April 23rd.  Probably my two favorite new artists right now..can't wait!

check them both out.  Lydia just signed to Bloodshot records...Joe Plays with the Low Anthem and Deer Tick a lot and his new album, White Lighter (which you can download for free here (https://www.noisetrade.com/joefletcher#) is getting rave reviews from No Depression and a lot of others.

Jason Isbell and the 400 unit tomorrow in Birmingham, AlaBAM

This is my first Jason Isbell show (but 2nd DBT related, saw em at Bonnaroo 09 with Booker T) and I'm hoping he really lays it on us since we're so close to "home"

April 21st - Blood Ceremony & Wolf People.

Blood Ceremony have a flautist so there's a good chance I might finally get to hear Tiny Circle as it's meant to be heard after missing out on the Dungen/Wolf People tour last year (can't complain, I was in NY for the T5 shows)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.
