Sooooo jealous dragonboy. Are you going to the show where their playing Post to Wire and their upcoming album one after the other? That would be a show to see.

Now Im even more jealous!

I just do not understand why Richmond Fontaine are not better known, especially in their home country.  Cannot wait for the new album. Musical story telling at its absolute best.

Every fan of MMJ should check this band out.  They are the best secret in music today.

At my house, we call them uh-ohs.

Crispy

Sleepy Sun opening for the Black Angels tonight in OKC -- I've been wanting to see both of these bands for a LONG time. Sad to see that the female singer for Sleepy Sun is gone, but I'm sure they'll be great anyway.

ralph: I'm a fan of any group whose songs average greater than four words per title.  ;) That Blue Velvet thing sounds incredible.

I don't know about this Eddie Veder character, but if he's playing with Glenn Hansard, he must be pretty good! I don't think you should miss that one.

It's at the Fox also. Immediatly put it out of my price range. Crazy how much they want for a couple of unknowns, right.

Avett Brothers are playing the Burgh on friday..Not sure I feel like forking over $50 + probably $30 for concert juice for a band I only sort of like though.

(Excluding tomorrow's webcast) our start of the summer concert season begins next Saturday - surprised my husband with tickets to Furthur.

Ruckus

Anders Osborne is playing the 8x10 this Saturday, my favorite club in the world.  My folks are gonna be in town and they are in their early 60's.  My dad loves this kind of music but I'm not sure he could hold up physically late into the night. :-\

Gonna try! :)

I saw the Head and the Heart open for Dr. Dog and they were awesome.  Didn't like their album so much but their live show kills
