That show was announced early from the 930 site but I know that they will be touring then and more dates will be announced.  I was at that Sonar show I believe.  I met Biz Markie about 7 years ago and he was one cool dude.  We were watching Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh ;D

That DT sonar show was quite an experience... we drove down from philly on a whim, parked under a highway, found out the place was some hip hop club with people getting patted down at the front door. walked down an alley to where the DT show was going to be, downstairs. just weird. cool bar setup in the back, and when we walked in the band was chilling on some zebra couches in a dark corner.

In Sept I have a Bon Iver show and a Jason Isbell show.  Oct I have a DBTs show.  Then I need to replenish the funds and hide out til after the new year.  In the last month went to a MMJ with Delta Spirit show and a TV on the Radio show as well as The Low Anthem a few nights ago.  Been a good run.

Umphrey's McGee @ House Of Blues in A.C. on 9/22

I caught their late night set at Mtn. Jam, and thought it was great. I  definitely wanted to see them again, and got lucky this time, as it's pretty close to home. Tix were only $26.00 inc. fees. :o
"Where's Jim going?"

yep. couldn't quite believe the lineup... we don't normally get those kind of festival lineups over here, maybe too expensive to get them all out here? dunno.

Now with added TV On The Radio and Mogwai! This lineup just keeps getting better...

Ahhh!!  I was just invited to the Thanksgiving STRING CHEESE shows by my friends from Georgia!!!  They apparently sold out real quick, but my friends grabbed what extras they could, and the Thanksgiving show is in Asheville!!!  Gonna see how my grandfolks are all doing and judge if I should be home or not for these shows!!   :D :D
