...forgot that a friend got me a ticket to Chris Cornell acoustic show in December. I loooove shows during the holiday season!!  I'm about to embark on a nice little run to end the year.

Jambase is reporting the Black Mountain Dec 2 show at the Greek but I can't find confirmation anywhere else, not even on Greek website.  I'll be bummed if it is not true.  Anybody know anything about this?

I wish the Black Angels were swinging towards my neck of the woods again.   Ruckus, I see you are in the DC-Balt area; do you know of Pig Destroyer (towards the Mastadon genre)?

Looking forward to hearing about Astronautalis.  I missed out last week. He wasn't expected to start until midnight and I had to be up pretty early the next day.  In other words, I haven't a hair on my sack.   :embarassed:

Blucas - The name rings a bell but I am not familiar with their music at all.  I am very much looking forward to the show tonight.

JT - I'm not driving so will report back what I remember on Friday

The show was sick!  They exceeded my high expectations and the psychedelic lighting was great considering what we normally get at Ottober.  It really adds to their performance.
Dead Meadow was great as well.  Picked up one of their vinyls that came with a concert DVD - sweet.  I'm always impressed by a trio that can fill up that much sonic space.

It was great to rock with the ever so generous sassbox

I've been in a show rut lately.   I DO have Chris Robinson Saturday along with trying to squeeze Wax Fang on the front end or Dr. Dog on the back end.   I need a clone.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Sorry for the rough times you're going through in St. Louis right now :-\

I'll be your clone.  I need a Dr. Dog fix

As do I... I was out of town for their most recent show in philly. Haven't seen them as a full band since May 2009.

Has anyone seen Ben Sollee by himself?  He is in town tomorrow and I'm trying to decide if I should go.  Thanks...
