In other news, I've just bought a ticket to see Roger Waters doing the "outside" Wall next September!  Thanks for taking care of that pesky cash for ten months, Rog... it was cluttering up my bank account.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

Manonthemoon and I will be at the Neil show at the Patriot Center.  I'll contact you offline about that.

I just saw The Who in DC and it was amazing.  Very tempted to go again, but that probably won't happen.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

I'm really excited that I'm going to see Om tomorrow night. If it's as good as a friend said it was on Saturday night, I'm going to be in another realm.

They are so atmospheric, trancy, and tight.  Once they get in a groove....oh man.  Like I said before, they require a bit of patience but for me they were just unbelievable.  So unique and one of my top shows of the year.
Can You Put Your Soft Helmet On My Head

Going to see Justin Beiber Thursday night at MSG.

DO NOT sweat me, you know you're jealous as hell.  Oh - and of course I got the VIP seats....sucker! I figure with all of Chrissy's college money being blown on MMJ shows, it's the least I could do.

I'm way beyond jealous....

I'm speechless.

Since Chrissy's parents have spoiled her by being on the rail at MMJ shows (at least NFF) it would be interesting to hear how she thinks this compares.

I assume that you are the parent who's taking one for the team. Seriously, bring your earplugs. The screaming is painful. When I took my daughter, I was surprised that I got weepy. Not because of Beiber, but there's something about taking your kid to a show they are dying to go to that is a rite of passage. He puts on an ok show, but the opening acts will be dull. Chrissy will be over the moon!

mahg33ta

wed- Delta Spirit
thurs- Simone Felice
fri - Joe Fletcher / Spirit Family Reunion

FiddleCastro

Just scored tickets to Yeah Yeah Yeahs @ Union Pool / Sandy Benefit. Should be interesting!

ManNamedTruth

Jan 23 - Heartless Bastards
Jan 30 - Hot Water Music
Feb 8 - The Lumineers
Apr 6 - Eric Clapton

Will probably go to the first two, will consider the others. Clapton depends on what ticket prices look like. I used to be into HWM back in the day, and was supposed to go see them like 12 years ago but plans fell through. So basically I want to make up for that one that got away.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!
