O, if you are traveling alone, you can snag my +1. My buddy dropped out.

Also, by "just" sold out, I literally mean it JUST sold out per the venue's twitter. The local radio station might still have some tix kicking around.

That is AWESOME! I'm planning on going with my girlfriend, but finding one extra will be a hell of a lot easier than two. You da man! I'll let you know either way by the end of the day.

Sounds good. I'll hold it until I hear from you. If you are just looking for one, I would call WEQX at 802-362-1027 and see if they have one. Some of the DJs from the station are going and if one of them can't make it they may have an extra one. Tell them you are traveling from afar. They are pretty cool people.

MUST report back on that Dr. Dog show! Looks like they're finally ready/willing to toss in some deep cuts, I can't wait to see the setlists from this run.

It's no OBH, but I've got Phosphorescant tonight in a small club.

A band called Caveman is opening.  Anybody have any thoughts on them?   One song I heard reminds me of the Shins, which is good.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

A Picture of Our Torn Up Praise
Tell Me Baby (Have You Had Enough)
Nothing Was Stolen (Love Me Foolishly)

Quotidian Best, Terror in the Canyons, Nothing Was Stolen, Song For Zula, Ride On, and Wolves killed.  So did everything else, but damn those were great live.  They also set up white flowers and candles all over the stage, like a ton of them.

Picked up a ticket tonight for my first Jason Isbell show, in Iowa City on April 4 at Blue Moose Tap House.

Also got a seat onstage for an intimate show- 100 people on the Englert Theatre (Iowa City) stage with Ben Sollee and William Fitzsimmons, on May 6.

Saw Phossy 2 nights ago in C'bus also in a small club.  Saw them at the same club last summer and it wasn't nearly as crowded.  Of course, students weren't in town in the summers either...

How did you like Caveman?  I hadn't heard them prior to seeing them open for Phossy, but I was quite impressed. I've since downloaded both of their albums and really dig what I'm hearing.  I too get some Shins, but I'm also hearing some Verve in some of their songs as well...

Oh, and Phossy killed it again as usual!
