Yeah, I read your great news in the other thread Wolof.  Congrats again!  Like I said there, I hope this means you'll be traveling to see the Jacket a little more outside of NE? ;)

I hope you make this show Mahg33ta!  I already vouch for them much more than Middle Brother live. ;D   How do you like their S/T album if you've given them a spin?

I just bought the S/T album and have never even heard a lick of their music.   But I've been on a Deer Tick bender since the Middle Brother thread and pretty much know their stuff cold.   So it's the appeal of seeing McCauley solo that's gotten me out of my seat.   The fact that you and others recommend the headliner make it a no-brainer.   $8 and a 40 min drive !!

I'm certainly hoping so, it will make it easier financially...It sucks i missed t5 last year because we had already booked a pretty pricey vacation for that week. Wish I coulda experienced that and met all you great people in person. If i could have done it over I would've spent the extra loot on traveller's insurance and changed the week.

However, I hope to get back into travelling outside the realm of NE again soon, it's been a while since I've done any roadtrippin and MMJ is definitely a great excuse. One of my best friends and fellow world traveller lives in Pittsburgh and its high time I make it down that way for another visit

i will be at probably every BK Bowl show.

Im gonna have to talk to some friends in Philly and try to make that show next friday I think..I gotta see the Bizness somewhere with a better crowd than the Burgh.

....I also think that the Bizness' biggest fanbase on another bands forum is probably MMJ, but maybe that just relates to the Burgh's terrible crowds for them.

Yeah Bold, you're more in the know about them.  I just took this off of Colmus' (J Roddy's Drummer) blog.  I figured they've become such good friends since they toured together that McCauley was doing 'em a hometown favor to bring in the crowds because I know they haven't made as much of a dent in the NE (Boston etc.) market yet.  Maybe it's just Joe Fletcher now.

EDIT:  Just asked them on FB.  Hopefully an answer comes of it

False accusations??!! So quickly to judge, Ruckus....Naw I brought the rockstorm to the Star Bar the night before  ;) (you have to listen with trained ears to hear the lead guitar, b/c the video isn't great, but the keys and bass are IN YOUR FACE) :

I wouldn't be surpised if The Wrong Reasons also open, they have played with the Tick in the past seems like they are all pretty close. In fact they opened the War Elephant re-release show with Those Darlins several years back and it was a blast. Both openers would go well with the Bizness and Deertick is playing NH 2 days earlier so it seems that they'll be around.

P.S. anyone else friends with Deertick on FB? They posted something that they are going into the studio in a few days and taking cover song suggestions!!!

PS Deer Tick is playing the Met..same venue, on 4/28 I believe with Johnny Corndawg.

Love Corndawg!  Great guy and musician.  Also sells his leather work.  He just made me my second belt and it's badass!
