This album is so good. Record of 2013 for me so far.

It's the record that Jim should've written after Evil Urges.

I would like to see MMJ do an album that would naturally follow It Still Moves.  The sharp turn they took (while I love Z) leaves me longing for that pure, authentic, soul bearing sound.

yes, "soul bearing" should be a username!

I want a MMJ album that has the sound of steam engine/phone mixed with the melancholicness of strangulation/IWBTWYD/Dondante

Jim is too happy for that though, which is a good thing.

Yeah, I'm glad Jim is in a good place...but at times it also comes off as a cheesy place.

If he is happy, I want songs about hard core sex and eating dirt with no abandon.

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I just picked up the new album.  I've listened to it twice through at this point.  I'm liking the sound.  So far, the standouts are A Charm / A Blade, Song for Zula, The Quotidian Beasts

Loving this album!  In many ways it's the album I selfishly wish Jim made.  Phossy has become another of my favorite artists that has yet to put out a disappointing album.
