I never heard of this kid until his performance on Conan early this week. He did a cover of a Dylan tune from the upcoming tribute album and he is a revelation. What a fucking brilliant slide guitarist too:

Yes amazing guitar player!  He used to be in a band with the guys from Dawes - that's Taylor Goldsmith playing bass with him.    He's been touring with Lucinda Williams lately too.

Just got his album...really great stuff.   He also kills some Lucinda Williams covers I saw on youtube.
