Cookie must be fully healed to let you go. Our spouses are the best to let us go on these impromptu trips.

Fantastic news, Crispy!!  Didja get soundcheck tix?

zanjam

BTW I got word that soundcheck is "around 3:30".  Not sure if that will stick, but good to know for initial planning purposes.

With 11pm curfew and stupid Shabazz Palaces taking up precious time, we need to get it while we can, bro!

donde esta walterfredo?
I think he said he has a wedding on Sat, so my guess is he's intentionally avoiding this thread.

Damn Walter, and I thought not getting out there or being able to transfer my tix was a bummer.

Enjoy the wedding though.  I'm sure it must be someone close to skip this show that's practically in your back yard. Hopefully they'll be an open bar. I'd need it.

Definitely some dear friends, and I wouldn't miss their wedding for the world.  Still, it's gonna sting a bit!  Especially since it's looking like we will be unable to attend a single jacket show all year...and they're absolutely on fire (still trying to make NYE happen, haven't given up hope entirely on that one yet).

the Claremont?  and how big is the wedding?  will they definitely notice if you duck out for 2 hrs or so?

ha!  I like your style (and the thought has crossed my mind).  No, it's in the Oakland Hills, near the Oak/Berkeley border right off the 13....in their backyard, small wedding!  No chance of sneaking away, and I wouldn't do it anyway, some of our BFFs for sure.  Wedding doesn't start until 5 I think, so it will be in full swing.  Had it been earlier in the day I might have been able to pull it off.

Well I hope you can make it to NYE then. Didn't get a chance to hang for long last year, but if you come to Boston we'll definitely have to at least grab a beverage.

I'll sweeten the deal.  Come to Boston, walterfredo, and when we finally meet in person I'll hand you a tube with a signed Forecastle poster.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

walterfredo

You guys are great! Really want to make Boston happen...need to keep my string of jacket NYE shows alive.
