Okay, I know I confused the crap out of Meg before, and I think Ratsprayer may be jumping on that boat.

So here's how it works when I write out chords.

Let's take the Oxen chords for example, since that was the one in question.

I wrote out the first chord as C: 000000

the way this might be easier read is:

e-0
C-0
G-0
C-0
G-0
C-0

basically, I write out the chord from lowest string to highest string, going left to right. The number corresponds to the fret.

Take a regular C chord for example:

e-0
B-1
G-0
D-2
A-3
E-x

my way~ C: x32010

so the x is for the string you don't play, and all the strings read from left to right.

I hope this helps.

Riny, if any of us have tab notes, maybe we could post em in here and have this stickied?

haha, thank you. You understand how the chords work, though right? Would it help if I wrote in there who to tune to CGCGCE?

I try to avoid too many stickies so I included a link in all your tab topics to this one.
