i have tried doing that...but the responses are better when posted by itself!

thanks aMillionDreams!!!

and i'm also NOT trying to be a dick...but isn't it easier to find songs if each song has its own thread rather than trying to sift through several pages of a thread looking for the song?

the point was to have the songs reposted as threads, and to post a thread when a song was worked out, so that the transcription was the point of the the thread, and not the search for it. the tab request thread is where to post when you're looking for something. and yeah, people do go in there and read what you're looking for. if something doesn't get posted, it probbaly hasn't been tabbed out yet. i think the way it was intended to work was like that. you make a thread for the song when you have it figured out, so that that's the topic of the thread.

Plus, it's pretty disappointing to go here, see a new thread titled Where to Begin and open it just to find "Anybody got this one?" You could just throw that in the discussion thread and you'd get the same answer. Not to be a jerk about all this, so i'm sorry if it came off like that, but I have been disappointed more than once by people posting a new thread about a song just to ask for it. i think it's in Riny's thread at the top that you're supposed to throw that in the Tab Request thread.

tomEisenbraun

sorry, but about the other comment. if something in that other thread hasn't been posted, you can most certainly do that with credit of the tabber to make it eaiser for everybody else. somebody's gotta do it sometimes. and i've seen a couple of times where somebody's requested something in that thread and somebody went and found it for em and posted it as a new thread. which is how it was meant to work.

thanks man...i appreciate the explanation.  i just wasn't sure and the way i was doing it was getting better results for me than posting in the tab request.  you are right though

and i'm still waiting for you to tab Tyrone!!!  i know you can do it!
