about hopefully,

I think you hammer onto the second fret of the G string. I need to find my capo and figure this out.
The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

Hello, I've been an avid board lurker for years. Anyways, I decided to give back a little.

 In The Woods.

 A - C#m - D for the main

 A - b flat - Bm - E Pre chrous

 D - E - A - F#m Chorus

Just the rough chords!

This is how I play "Hopefully" or at least some of it.

3-3-3-3-3--3-3-3   -0-  -0-
3-3-3-3-2--2-2-2   -2-  p0h2
0-0-0-0-3--3-3-3   -2-  -2-
0-0-0-0-0--0-0-0   -2-  -2-
0h2-2-2-0--0-0-0   -0-  -0-
0h3-3-3-0--0-0-0   -0-  -0-

Then some other things.

ok, I got Oxen figured out

its in CGCGCe tuning

C- 000000
Fsus- 555000
Gsus- 777000
F-555555
G-777777

intro is C C Fsus Gsus
(not counted in full bars, but in symmetricitiousness. therefore, you play twice as much C chord as the the others individually. if youve heard it, its easy. One thing to remember, at the end of it, make sure you strum the top strings. Lay off of em for most of strumming, but hit them at the end of the bar for accent)

wanted to see your holy vow
C..............Fsus.......Gsus....

and so on

should've known bettter, all those old letters
F.....................................G

always wanted to read
F..........................C

woulda been nice if my old devices woulda
F...................................G

just......let me be
F.....................G

How could i know
C...............Fsus....Gsus

basically the whole song
The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

This is what I've got for 'I Won't Cry' so far.  I'm pretty sure that it's mostly right.  The second guitar adds a lot to this song  and I'd appreciate some help figuring out some of those licks.

I Won't Cry
intro:
e--2--------2--------
B--3--------3--------
G--2--------2--------
D--4---2---0---0---
A--------------------
E--------------------

D....................A........G...................D......A......G
She ain't gonna love me till I'm gone
D....................A........G...................D......A......G
she ain't gonna make her happy home
D....................A........G
Love into our bed (??)
D....................A........G
Scratched until I bleed
D................
I was with you then
..............A........G..........D........A.....G
Now I'm starting again
F#m..........G
I won't cry (I won't cry)
F#m..........G
Won't say goodbye
F#m..........G
I won't cry
...........G
I was with you then
.............G..........D
Now I'm starting again

Just Because I Do

C.......G
I go light,
C.......G
every night, and
F.............C
just because I do:
F................C
im writin off a letter,
G.......F..........C.....G
to keep from losin you.
C..............G.....F
I saw it in a letter.

Every night you talk in disguise, and girl that aint like you.
Im wishin you'd get better, to save yourself some glue.
I go blind, every night and just because I do:
im hopin you'll get better, and ill get rid of you.
Then I'll get rid of you.

hey all - i've been lurking the boards for a spell now, just registered. anywho -

i've got a chord chart/tab thing worked out for 'knot comes loose', but im seeking permission to post it along with the lyrics, as per standard. i just do this because i wouldn't want to ruin the record for anyone who was able to exert some self control and not seek it out early (not to worry, i already have my double vinyl ordered).

i also have a dead knock-out of hopefully that im working on typing up and hope to post here in the next few days. i'm working on a few others from the new set as well (dandante for instance - is actually pretty simplistic sans the lead guitar line)

so - let me know if some folks would/would not like to see the knot comes loose tab.

thanks

gundy

Please keep this thread alive. Love all the old songs as well as the new! Thanks for the tabs!

I noticed well browsing through here Picture of You was mentioned but from what Ive seen there wasnt a tab for it. Does anyone happen to know how to play it?
