This one's alive on DIME.  Duder says the sound's good, but there's a digiskip on Steam Engine so hopefully we'll get another source on this one.

Didn't someone record this one as it was being broadcast from WXRT? Hope so, still I'm grabbing this one. thanks!!  ;D
But seein you feels good, and its always understood.
That anything much sweeter would make me die.

the sound is excellent.  there's a prominent skip right in the beginning and towards the end of steam engine, but it's still utterly incredible.

i was going to create at least an mp3 for steam engine and put it on yousendit, but i'm afraid the taping gods and their reps will bitch, moan, and groan.  i've said it before, and i'll say it again (keep in mind i'm not an official audiophile) but there's no difference in sound between flac, wav, and a 256kbps mp3.

Can someone please host this someplace else as maybe an MP3 or something.  Dimeadozen is not accepting new users.  There has got to be more people who recorded this show.  Giggidy Goo!!!!!

Brian Skalinder

FWIW, I'm uploading a clean recording from the FM broadcast to the Live Music Archive.  Should finish up later tonight.  I'll post the link when it's done.

Finally got a chance to soak in the Andrew Bird Steam Engine.

Ahhhhhhhh, yes.  A favorite song under a new light.  I love this fucking band.

I think this song should have it's own name.

Wow.  Thank you so much.  I LOVE Steam Engine and am so glad I have a clean recording of not only that song, but the entire show.  Now I can relive the concert over and over again.

I'd love it if they'd perform it again with Andrew Bird at Lollapalooza.

nice name ultravisitor, squarepusher is quite awesome.   :)
