it was Fuckinawesome and a huge surprise!!

They played a Lionel Richie or Commodores song first "Feeling Good" and then ended with "At Death, A Proclamation" with an incredible long guitar explosion at the end. And at one point Phossy and Jim switched guitars.

very fun night, very amazing surprise!!

was anyone else there?

Waddy Peytona

That was a nice surprise. They sounded great together, too.

There were a lot of phones in the air, so video will probably surface.

I wonder why we listen to poets when nobody gives a fuck

Wonder what my odds are of having him show up at the Jeff Tweedy show tonight?!?!

I can't take it any more.

All these reports of Jim showing up and jamming with great bands coming through his hometown is killing me.

I'm quitting my job and moving to Louisville!!!

Did he play with Dawes or did I miss read a headline?

That Tweedy show didn't need anything added to it honestly.

But at Headliners, with only a few hundred people there, and with Phosphorescent...that was really perfect!!

I'm an idiot. Dawes is opening for Conor Oberst, not Tweedy...

I can't find any info on the "Feeling Good" cover.   Anybody know this song?
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.
