trying to get this going....

In kind of, but maybe not particular order, I loved...

Perfect, 5 Starts, 10/10, A1..
Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly

Great
Phosphorescent - Live at a Music Hall
Jason Isbell - Something More Than Free
Ryan Adams - 1989

That's probably four of my top ten right there.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

parkervb

no particular order:

FJM - ILY Honeybear
MMJ - The Waterfall
Isbell - SMTF
Alex Bleeker & The Freeks - Country Agenda
Futurebirds - Hotel Parties

haven't spent enough time with Wilco's Star Wars and really want to get to Kurt Vile's new one. Wasn't sure what to do with Live albums but DRA's Live at Carnegie is really good and I can't believe how great Flamingo Hotel sounds.
Don't you ever turn it off

LBSUNFLWR

Kurt Vile will definitely make my top 10.
MMJ
Isbell
Josh Ritter will probably be my #1
Phil Cook - anyone who hasn't heard should run and get this!

liked that Alex Bleeker the first time I listened too, need to go back for more.
liked Courtney Barnett
all dogs

and still haven't listened to Tom Petty and more that I really need to get to.

I really wish I could get into the new Lucero. Didn't much like the previous one either, but other than that they're one of my favorite bands ever. Maybe I'll give this one another try.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

LBSUNFLWR

really liked Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats also, need to go back for more listens.
and I guess I need to give Father John Misty another go. I was disappointed the 2 times I listened to it months ago...Wilco too even though historically they are one of my favorite bands.

wheelhousetunes

#1: The Bottle Rockets - South Broadway Athletic Club
#2: The Darkness - The Last Of Our Kind
#3: Keith Richards - Crosseyed Heart

and the rest in no particular order:

Wilco is so-so for me, and they too are my favorite all time band. FJM though is insanely good. And I hate that guy.

HA! I loved Fear Fun and played it a LOT. I was really looking forward to his next album and I just wasn't getting into it. Similarly I saw him like 2 years ago and really loved the show, and then when I saw him a 2nd time it was just so-so. I think he deserves a 3rd listen though so I will try to stay open minded. I've talked to several people who love it.

Did you listen to Josh Ritter or Phil Cook? not your thing?
those were among my top 5 of the year...though I don't spend too much of my time on new music I will admit.

anyway, this upcoming weekend we are seeing Martin Courtney on Friday night and Diane Coffee Saturday night, both in 100 person venues!!
