Spare a thought for those of us who have to get our orders shipped out of the U.S. I pretty much paid as much in shipping as I did for the actual roll call membership.

When I checked with the local independent record store in Louisville (the largest of the 4 or 5 that actually sell new releases), they confirmed to me that they would indeed be selling the 4 record vinyl re-release (it's not a limited special edition run). They said it would be at or slightly below the listed price on MMJ's store site (but without a penny added for any shipping or handling costs). I don't see how in the world small independent record stores can get records shipped and handled to them either for nothing or for little enough that they can still sell records at or maybe even below the list price and still make their profit. I know they deal in bulk to a degree, but to charge $15.70 just to get the record to my house is a bit ridiculous. Unless it's some sort of limited special release, why in the world would they want their fans to purchase their stuff from their store anyway, if it costs them so much that it's impossible for them to make a profit, unless they charge such an outrageous price mark-up. What's even weirder (more of a total rip-off) is that a simple single CD (probably in a thin cardboard slip case) that only costs $13.95, costs an additional $11.65, which brings the total price of a simple, single CD to be shipped and handled to my little house in central Kentucky to a whopping total of $25.60. This is unacceptable, in my opinion.

I agree, that is unacceptable. I ended up paying 22$ for a circuital can koozie that was listed as 4$.

Gina, I just replied to my order confirmation email, asking for a refund.  It happened within two days.  I'm guessing the band gets the same $ per unit sold, regardless of from where it was purchased, so I wouldn't lose sleep over asking for the refund and picking up this ISM reissue for $48 instead of $70.  Use that $22 savings towards a poster at Red Rocks!
