Sharon and the Dap Kings opened for MMJ in LA and San Fransisco in 2011. I've seen her at Forecastle and here in Iowa City. 





An electric performer with quite a biography.  And, now, it has inspired a documentary...

Love Sharon!

Here's a vid of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings backing up Phish for Loving Cup during Phish's cover of the entire Exile on Main Street Album for Halloween 2009. They played with Phish throughout this whole set. Soooo good!
