Me and Neal :)

Chris (with guitar!)

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

jaye

oh wow - I had no idea Neal Casal was touring with him.  They're playing at a small club in my town in a few weeks.   :)

We have tickets for 12/3 here in Portland! I'm so excited.

My only prob is that the Jacket are playing in SF the night before. Can't afford the airfare right now but I could drive down.  It would be an awful long trip back up, though, to make it in time for Chris.   :-\

Or I could take it slow and drive through Napa/Sonoma on the way back up...sorry Chris!
My jacket's gonna be cut slim and checked

I love the CRB!  Bunch of Black Crowes junkies on Facebook are convinced that Rich Robinson band is better, but I disagree to the fullest amount.

They have 3 albums out. All good. Newest one just came out a few weeks ago.
I have seen them a few times and loved each show. They are playing here next Friday - Can't wait.

Black Crowes junkie here, and I love Rich but I don't think his band can compare. But I love Neal as well and think he and Chris are a perfect fit for each other!!

LBSUNFLWR

wish I could see those pictures, they aren't showing up for me..

I'll be at the CRB show next week in Louisville as well!

Nice!!

I am excited to see the new venue, have heard mixed reviews so far. Have either of you been??

I'd rather see them at Headliners again...but we'll see!
So many great shows happening in June and July!

ajclements004

This will be my first show at the Mercury Ballroom.  The last show at headliners was mind blowing.  I'm just thankful it's a GA show!

Only 2 more days until the Louisville show.  I'm getting so excited for it!

Mr. White

I got to see the Chris Robinson Brotherhood last night (June 20, 2014) at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, Kentucky. I got there early and took a spot on the rail just to the right of where Chris had his mic setup. The show was really good. They seemed to be happy up there on stage. The club was very cozy. There were some really good spots up in the balcony that wrapped around all the way to where you could have been looking right down on top of the band. I checked those out at first, but decided I liked being on the front row better.

I only recorded a couple of songs from the show. Here is Driving Wheel.

Great show last night indeed!

Mr. White

Here's CRB covering the Grateful Dead's West LA Fade Away. (The sound is a little too loud on this recording but not that bad. I just couldn't resist getting their one and only GD cover recorded last night.) As you can see, I was right in front of Chris' incense burner.
